At last, as spring begins to bloom,
we open the haggadah and
recalling our people's liberation from Egypt,
give thanks to God,
Source of Redemption.
|
With Pesach, our Festival of Freedom, upon us
let us recommit to bringing about the day when
all who are enslaved
may celebrate redemption,
as did our own people by the shores of the Sea.
|
At the seder table, consider a fifth question:
Bashanah haba'ah, in the year ahead,
what will I do to fight slavery in this world?
|
|
Let us partner together in this holy work.
|
|
