Twenty-four pioneering rabbis’ lives and achievements are illuminated in the works of twenty-four leading contemporary Jewish women artists in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the ordination of Rabbi Sally J. Priesand as the first woman rabbi in North America. Presented in partnership with The Braid and the HUC Dr. Bernard Heller Museum.

This exhibition will feature never-before seen documents relating to Rabbi Sally J. Priesand's journey to becoming the first woman rabbi ordained in North America in 1972. Visitors will also be able to view unique memorabilia and personal artifacts recently donated by Rabbi Priesand which are now preserved in the collection of the American Jewish Archives.
