Dr. Steven M. Cohen, tenured Research Professor of Jewish Social Policy at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, has resigned from employment with the College-Institute. Beginning on June 21, 2018, the College-Institute received several complaints of sexual misconduct by Dr. Cohen and commenced an internal investigation. Dr. Cohen did not dispute some of the conduct alleged. The College-Institute will not comment on the specific allegations.
